A nuclear fuel train for the first power unit arrived at the construction site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
The NPP provided the necessary technical readiness of the premises, equipment, systems and elements, as well as the organizational readiness of the plant personnel for the safe handling of fresh nuclear fuel.
Prior to the delivery of fuel, in accordance with regulatory documents, the facilities of the first power unit were transferred under the protection of internal troops in the normal mode.
The delivery of fresh nuclear fuel is a milestone in the construction phase of a nuclear facility, especially for the Republic of Belarus that makes it for the first time for its first nuclear unit of Belarusian NPP. As such, the countdown to the launch of the nuclear unit has begun.
